Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Demi Carbone and Maddie Johnson Lead Providence Catholic to Victory

Providence Catholic had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came out on top against the Evergreen Park Mustangs by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Celtics also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2024.

Leading Providence Catholic to victory were Maddie Johnson and Demi Carbone. Johnson had four aces and three digs, while Carbone hit 77.8% for seven kills and seven digs and three aces. That's the most digs Carbone has posted since back in October of 2024.

They weren't the only good servers: Providence Catholic was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 16 aces. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their ace total in three consecutive matches.

Providence Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 14-1. As for Evergreen Park, the loss snapped their winning streak at six matches and leaves them with a 10-5 record.
