Softball Game Preview: Trinity Raiders vs. Meade County Green Waves

The Trinity Raiders are taking a road trip to challenge the Meade County Green Waves at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Trinity will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Trinity's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Hopkinsville as they made off with a 17-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Raiders, who have now won three contests by 11 runs or more so far this season.

Boaz typically has all the answers at home, but on Saturday Meade County proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Pirates by a score of 4-0. Four seems to be a good number for the Green Waves as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Kaelyn Ledford was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, one stolen base, and one double. That home run was her first of the season.

Trinity's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Meade County, their win bumped their record up to 8-4.
