Basketball Recap: Paxton-Buckley-Loda Takes a Loss

Paxton-Buckley-Loda was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They lost 52-30 to the Watseka/Milford Warriors. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 621st, while the Warriors are ranked 141st).

Paxton-Buckley-Loda's loss dropped their record down to 2-21. As for Watseka/Milford, they pushed their record up to 18-1 with the victory, which was their tenth straight on the road.

Paxton-Buckley-Loda has already played their next contest (against Iroquois West), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Watseka/Milford will be playing at home against Manteno at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
