Basketball Game Preview: Nicholas County Grizzlies vs. Roane County Raiders

Nicholas County is on a three-game streak of home losses, Roane County a five-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Tuesday. The Nicholas County Grizzlies will welcome the Roane County Raiders at 7:30 p.m.

Nicholas County is headed into the match out to prove that what happened against Hoover on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Nicholas County had to suffer through an 88-51 loss at the hands of Hoover. The Grizzlies were down 67-37 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Meanwhile, Roane County didn't have too much trouble with Clay County on Thursday as they won 67-53.

Roane County's win bumped their record up to 5-11. As for Nicholas County, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-12.

Nicholas County came up short against Roane County in their previous matchup back in February of 2020, falling 71-67. Can Nicholas County avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
