Basketball Recap: Scotia-Glenville Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Scotia-Glenville can now relate to. They fell 66-54 to the Hudson Bluehawks on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, the Tartans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 742nd, while the Bluehawks are ranked 216th).

It was another big night for Keith Robinson, who shot 52% from the field on his way to 26 points in addition to eight rebounds and four steals for Hudson. Robinson's big performance that evening made it 20 games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. Ryan Conte was another key player, putting up six points and three steals.

Scotia-Glenville's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-19. As for Hudson, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 18-3.

Scotia-Glenville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hudson, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 74-42 win against Schalmont on the 2nd.
