Baseball Recap: Gray-New Gloucester Comes Up Short

Gray-New Gloucester was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They fell 3-0 to the Yarmouth Clippers. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Patriots were not able to get on the board.

Gray-New Gloucester saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gage Rioux, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base. Rioux has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played.

Gray-New Gloucester's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Yarmouth, they moved to 9-7 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

As of now, neither Gray-New Gloucester nor the Clippers have any future games scheduled.
