Basketball Recap: Mendota Comes Up Short

Mendota was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss. They took a hard 48-32 fall against the Putnam County Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 47-38 back in November of 2024.

Mendota's defeat dropped their record down to 3-24. As for Putnam County, their victory bumped their record up to 6-23.

Coming up, Mendota will challenge Newark at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Putnam County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
