Volleyball Recap: Butler's Victory on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Butler had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. Everything went their way against the Stockton Tigers as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Bears, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-5, 25-21.

Kylee Dubray paced Butler's offense, picking up 15 kills. Dubray got some help from Kamden Fennewald and her 37 assists. Fennewald was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Despite the loss, Stockton still got an impressive performance from Shia Roberts, who had 11 digs and five assists.

Butler's victory bumped their record up to 15-1-1. As for Stockton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 13 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-13-2 record this season.

Butler will square off against Prairie View at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Stockton, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Lockwood on the 30th.
