Soccer Game Preview: Tinley Park vs. Argo

The Tinley Park Titans will take on the Argo Argonauts at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Argo will take on a team with plenty of momentum: Tinley Park extended their winning streak to three on Thursday. The Titans were the clear victors by a 5-1 margin over Thornton Fractional North/Thornton Fractional South. With Tinley Park ahead 4-1 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Meanwhile, Argo hasn't lost a match since April 9th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Sunday. Everything went their way against Romeoville as they made off with a 5-2 victory. The high-scoring effort was just what Argo needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Tinley Park's win bumped their record up to 10-2-1. As for Argo, their victory bumped their record up to 8-4-2.

Tinley Park suffered a grim 4-1 defeat to Argo in their previous matchup back in May of 2025. Can the Titans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
