Wesson had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They never let the Jefferson Davis County Jaguars get on the board and left with an 18-0 victory on Friday. Considering the Cobras have won 14 matches by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Blayten Windom was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Wyatt Garrett, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Wesson always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .704. They are 13-1 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Wesson's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-7. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.5 runs on average over those games. As for Jefferson Davis County, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-15.

As of now, neither Wesson nor the Jaguars have any future games scheduled.
