Basketball Recap: Jasper Gets the Win

Jasper lost to Gibson Southern back in March, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Wildcats snuck past the Titans with a 60-55 win.

Despite the loss, Gibson Southern still got an impressive performance from Reece Runyan, who shot 67% from the field on his way to 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Kuester, who posted 13 points and five rebounds.

Jasper's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jasper will take on Evansville Memorial at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Gibson Southern, they will face off against Mt. Vernon at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup will give the Titans their first taste of in-conference action this season.
