Softball Recap: Madison Comprehensive Comes Up Short

Madison Comprehensive has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.65 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Thursday. They came up short against the Dover Crimson Tornadoes, falling 16-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Rams have suffered since April 16th.

This is the second loss in a row for Madison Comprehensive and nudges their season record down to 16-4. As for Dover, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 21-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Madison Comprehensive will venture away from home to challenge Mt. Vernon at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Dover, they will head out to take on West Branch at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
