Baseball Game Preview: Westinghouse Warriors vs. A-Tech Panthers

For the second straight game, Westinghouse will face off against A-Tech. The Warriors will welcome the Panthers at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Westinghouse has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the contest with three straight defeats, while A-Tech will come in with three straight wins.

Westinghouse came up short against A-Tech on Tuesday, falling 16-1.

For A-Tech's part, Jayden Reynoso and Jovanny Frias made a splash no matter where they played. Throwing, Reynoso pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Frias tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one hit in four consecutive appearances. At the plate, Reynoso went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple, while Frias went a perfect 3-for-3 with four stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.

In other batting news, A-Tech got a massive performance out of Sixto Feliz Vasquez, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Those hits were Vasquez's first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Fabian Ojeda-Maldonado, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple.

A-Tech's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Westinghouse, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.
