Basketball Recap: Idea Pflugerville Comes Up Short

Idea Pflugerville has relied on a stalwart defense averaging 29.91 points allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Tuesday. They were beaten by the Founders Classical Academy Archers 66-31. The Wizards haven't had much luck with the Archers recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

When it comes to explaining why Idea Pflugerville lost, don't look at Kelsey Freeman. Despite the final result, she posted 15 points. Those 15 points gave Freeman a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ja'Lynn Saucedo, who had eight points.

Idea Pflugerville now has a losing record at 11-12. As for Founders Classical Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-5.

Coming up, Idea Pflugerville will challenge KIPP Austin Collegiate at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Founders Classical Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
