Vintage is 8-2 against Sonoma Valley since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Vintage Crushers will venture away from home to take on the Sonoma Valley Dragons at 7:00 p.m.

Vintage is headed into the contest having just suffered their biggest loss since November 30, 2024 on Saturday. They had to suffer through a 65-34 loss at the hands of Acalanes. While losing is never fun, the Crushers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1057th, while the Dons are ranked 155th).

Meanwhile, Sonoma Valley entered their tilt with Concord on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They strolled past the Bears with points to spare, taking the game 62-45. The Dragons pushed the score to 54-29 by the end of the third, a deficit the Bears cut but never quite recovered from.

The win got Sonoma Valley back to even at 6-6. As for Vintage, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-9.

Vintage lost to Sonoma Valley on the road by a decisive 52-36 margin when the teams last played back in January of 2024. Can Vintage avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
