Basketball Recap: River Bluff Falls Short Against Ranked Dutch Fork

On Friday, River Bluff faced Dutch Fork in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The River Bluff Gators were dealt a 55-27 loss at the hands of the Dutch Fork Silver Foxes. Having soared to a lofty 69 points in the game before, the Gators couldn't push the score so high this time.

Defeat or not, River Bluff got some senior leadership from Yasir Cromer and Cooper Jones. Cromer went 6-for-15 to rack up 20 points, while Jones posted two points and nine rebounds. The matchup was Cromer's fourth in a row with at least 17 points.

Justus Bell continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Dutch Fork, dropping a double-double with 19 points and ten boards. Caleb Garner was another key player, putting up ten points.
