Winning always takes teamwork, but on Thursday Carter Ward stepped things up a notch to give Danville the 'W'. Ward went 6 for 13 en route to 13 points and four steals, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. Those four steals gave him a new career-high.

Looking ahead, Ward and Danville will be playing at home against Guerin Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on February 14th. Ward will face off against Ryne Paris, the Golden Eagles' star guard.
