Soccer Recap: Philadelphia High School for Girls Takes a Loss

The matchup between Philadelphia High School for Girls and Northeast on Tuesday hardly resembled the 2-0 effort from their previous meeting. The GAZELLE came up short against the Vikings, falling 8-0. Philadelphia High School for Girls were not able to make up for their defeat to Northeast from their previous meeting back in September of 2019.

Philadelphia High School for Girls now has a losing record of 0-1-1. As for Northeast, their victory bumped their record up to 4-0.

Looking ahead, Philadelphia High School for Girls will head out on the road to take on Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Northeast, they will be playing at home against South Philadelphia at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. Northeast will need to watch out since South Philadelphia have now posted at least four goals in their last three games.
