Football Recap: Garfield Triumphs

Garfield lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Carrollton, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's match. The Rams' defense stepped up to hand the Warriors a 20-0 shutout on Friday. For the Rams, this counts as revenge for the 10-7 win the Warriors walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

The victory got Garfield back to even at 2-2. As for Carrollton, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Looking ahead, Garfield will face off against North at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Rams are facing the Vikings at the right time seeing as the Vikings are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Carrollton, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Marlington at 7:00 p.m.
