Volleyball Recap: Bennett Jordan Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Wheatley

It's playoff time, and Hardin-Jefferson had no trouble coming through when it counted. Everything went their way against the Wheatley Wildcats on Thursday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win was some much needed relief for the Hawks as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.

Hardin-Jefferson's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Bennett Jordan, who had 18 kills, seven digs, and five aces. Jordan has been hot, having posted six or more kills the last eight times she's played. Cambrie Waggener was another key player, getting 35 assists and three digs.

Hardin-Jefferson's win bumped their record up to 29-14. As for Wheatley, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.

As of now, neither Hardin-Jefferson nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
