Baseball Recap: Kennett Takes a Loss

Kennett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 11-3 to the Dexter Bearcats. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bearcats this season, with their most recent loss being a 11-2 defeat on Saturday.

Kennett's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Dexter, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season.

Kennett wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Kelly on the 5th. As for Dexter, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 4-1 victory against Notre Dame on the 5th.
