Basketball Recap: Delavan-Darien Comes Up Short

After flying high against Monroe last Thursday, Delavan-Darien came back down to earth. The Comets fell 59-46 to the Jefferson Eagles on Tuesday. The Comets were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 54-38.

Delavan-Darien's loss dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Jefferson, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-9.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Delavan-Darien is set to take on their familiar foe Whitewater at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Jefferson will challenge rival East Troy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
