Basketball Recap: Seaman Comes Up Short

Seaman lost against Olathe Northwest back in January of 2015 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Seaman Vikings were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 46-45 to the Olathe Northwest Ravens. The matchup marked the Vikings' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Olathe Northwest's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jj Lee, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 13 boards. That's the most rebounds Lee has posted since back in January of 2024. Another player making a difference was Brandon Lewis, who posted seven points and six boards.

Seaman's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Olathe Northwest, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-2.

Seaman has already played their next game, a 61-55 victory against Valley Center on the 25th. As for Olathe Northwest, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 59-50 loss against Blue Valley on the 25th.
