Baseball Recap: Alden-Conger/Glenville-Emmons Takes a Loss

Alden-Conger/Glenville-Emmons was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 11-1 to the Lyle/Pacelli Athletics. If Alden-Conger/Glenville-Emmons was looking for revenge after losing 13-3 to Lyle/Pacelli when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Alden-Conger/Glenville-Emmons' defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Lyle/Pacelli, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 9-1.

Looking ahead, Alden-Conger/Glenville-Emmons will venture away from home to square off against Mabel-Canton at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lyle/Pacelli, they will challenge Grand Meadow/Kingsland/LeRoy-Ostrander at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Superlarks have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.58 runs per game on average), something the Athletics will no doubt try to take advantage of.
