Basketball Recap: Eastpointe Takes a Loss

Eastpointe suffered their closest loss since January 30, 2024 on Thursday. They fell just short of the South Lake Cavaliers by a score of 54-51. The Shamrocks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cavaliers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Eastpointe's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-5. As for South Lake, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-4.

Eastpointe is taking a road trip to take on Center Line at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for South Lake, they will take on Marine City at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
