Baseball Recap: Pine Creek Sets Scoring Season-High Against Vista Ridge

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pine Creek). They put the hurt on the Vista Ridge Wolves with a sharp 15-5 victory on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Wolves: they've now won five in a row.

Cade Johnson looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Zach Murray was a standout: he went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two RBI, and one double. That home run was his first of the season. Aiden Wilson was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple.
