Eastview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Eagan Wildcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lightning of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Eagan scored at least 17 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-17, 25-19.

Several Lightning players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Katelyn Molitor, who had 24 digs. Eastview will head out to face off against Prior Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Prior Lake is coming into the contest with three straight victories at home, so Eastview will have to stop a squad with plenty of momentum. As for Eagan, they will welcome Apple Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
