Volleyball Recap: Eastview Lightning vs. Eagan Wildcats        
        
		
             Eastview was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight  loss. They lost  3-0 to the Eagan Wildcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lightning of the  3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in September of 2023.
 The  loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive:  Eagan scored at least 17 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-17,  25-19.
 Several Lightning players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Katelyn Molitor, who  had 24  digs. Molitor is  on a roll when it comes to  digs, as she's  now  had 18 or more in the last five games she's  played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Tizita Getman, who  had 15  digs and two  aces.
 Eastview's defeat dropped their record down to 11-15. As for Eagan, the  win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 17-3.
 Eastview will head out to  face off against Prior Lake  at 7:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Prior Lake is coming into the  contest with three straight  victories at home,  so Eastview will have to stop a  squad with plenty of momentum. As for Eagan, they will welcome Apple Valley  at 7:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
