Basketball Recap: Babylon Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

If Babylon was feeling good fresh off their 55-32 takedown of Pierson/Bridgehampton last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Babylon Panthers took a 43-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mattituck Tuckers. The match marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Several Panthers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Peyton Logue - Boyd, who posted 14 points. Morgan Fiedler was another key player, putting up ten points.

Babylon's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 4-1. As for Mattituck, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Babylon wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 51-40 victory against Center Moriches on the 14th. Mattituck has also already played their next contest, a 48-23 win against Southampton on the 14th.
