Volleyball Recap: Chattooga Finds Playoff Glory Versus Toombs County

With a playoff win on the line, Chattooga rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Toombs County Bulldogs with a sharp 3-0 win.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Chattooga was: they took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-8, 25-12.

Among those leading the charge was Brooklyn Morris, who had seven digs and four aces.

They weren't the only good servers: Chattooga was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September.

When it comes to explaining why Toombs County lost, don't look at Arianna Hill. Despite the final result, she had eight digs and seven kills.

Chattooga has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 32-12 record this season. As for Toombs County, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 12-11.

Looking ahead, Chattooga will square off against Woodville-Tompkins at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Toombs County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
