Nenana extends road losing streak to four

Recap: Nenana Lynx vs. Cordova Wolverines
This season hasn't been kind to the Nenana Lynx, who are still winless after their fifth game. They were outmatched by Cordova on the road and fell 62-11. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Nenana has scored all season.
It was another big night for John Itliong, who scored 20 points along with seven steals and five assists for Cordova. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Itliong has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Calvin Fry, who scored nine points along with five steals.
Nenana's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 0-5. As for Cordova, their victory bumped their record up to 1-3.
Nenana will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Effie Kokrine Charter on January 23rd. Cordova won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Ninilchik at 7:00 p.m. on January 20th.
