Staples extended their winning streak to seven on Thursday, bumping them up to 7-0. They blew past the Stamford Black Knights 67-38. The Wreckers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 22 points or more this season.

Staples' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Matty Corrigan, who shot 60% from the field to rack up 14 points and five steals. Those five steals gave Corrigan a new career-high. Sam Clachko was another key player, going 6-for-11 en route to 15 points in addition to six boards and five assists.

As for Stamford, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4. The matchup marked their lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Stamford's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jhamari Atkinson, who posted 14 points. Another player making a difference was Jordan Sutton, who put up 11 points.
