Softball Recap: Sullivan County Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Sullivan County can now relate to. They took a 10-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bucktail Bucks on Tuesday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Mariah Hallabuk made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and three runs.

Sullivan County's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Bucktail, they pushed their record up to 16-4 with the win, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season.

As of now, neither Sullivan County nor the Bucks have any future games scheduled.
