Crestview and Wayne Trace are an even 3-3 against one another since May of 2019, but likely not for long. The Knights are taking a road trip to take on the Raiders at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Crestview is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.5 runs per game this season.

On Tuesday, Crestview came up short against Archbold and fell 7-3.

Dakota Thornell made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaci Gregory, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one double.

Hicksville hit Wayne Trace with a five-run sixth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Raiders came up short against the Aces, falling 12-2. The Raiders haven't had much luck with the Aces recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Wayne Trace saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Raegan McGarvey, who went 2-for-4 with one double.

Crestview's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Wayne Trace, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 8-6.

Crestview suffered a grim 17-4 defeat to Wayne Trace in their previous matchup back in April of 2025. Can the Knights avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
