For the second straight game, North Hills will face off against Central Catholic. The Indians will take on the Vikings at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. The last four games North Hills has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

North Hills took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Central Catholic a 1-0 shutout. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Indians as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

For Central Catholic's part, Ryan Tatar was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over six innings pitched.
