It was a good run, but Sierra unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Friday. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (9-2), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. The matchup marked their lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Zach Lloyd made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one double and one RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in May of 2024.

Sierra's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 9-3. As for Caruthers, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 5-8.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Sierra is set to face off against their familiar foe Minarets at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Caruthers will take on rival Fowler at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
