Baseball Recap: Fayette County Takes a Loss

Fayette County was the 5-3 winner over Sipsey Valley when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers fell just short of the Bears by a score of 2-1 on Monday.

Fayette County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Huston Porter, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Fayette County has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-17 record this season. As for Sipsey Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-20 record this season.

As of now, neither Fayette County nor Sipsey Valley have any future games scheduled.
