Shadow Hills's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Rancho Mirage Rattlers. The victory continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Rattlers: they've now won nine in a row.

Shadow Hills was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-20, 25-21.

Shadow Hills can attribute much of their success to Marley Mendez, who had 12 digs. Aliyah Hernandez also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Shadow Hills was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That's the most aces they've posted in their last nine matches.

Shadow Hills' win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 9-12. As for Rancho Mirage, they dropped their record down to 5-10 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.
