Delta Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 61-57 heartbreaker at the hands of the Tensas Panthers. One positive for the Storm, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Kayleigh Brooks was a one-woman wrecking crew for Tensas as she dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds. Brooks is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Autrice Vaughn was another key player, going 5 of 10 on her way to 14 points.

Delta Charter's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Tensas, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-8.

Delta Charter won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Block at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Tensas, they will also get right back to it: they'll face off against Delhi at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
