Basketball Game Preview: Dodson Coyotes vs. Saco/Whitewater/Hinsdale

The Dodson Coyotes just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome Saco/Whitewater/Hinsdale at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. Dodson is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.4 points per game this season.

Dodson is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Scobey/Opheim on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Dodson was outmatched by Scobey/Opheim and fell 80-34. The Coyotes were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-14.

Despite their defeat, Dodson saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Lance KillEagle, who posted 11 points, was perhaps the best of all. Junior Stiffarm was another key player, putting up ten points.

Meanwhile, after only 22 points in their last contest, Saco/Whitewater/Hinsdale made sure to put some points up on the board against Nashua last Saturday. Saco/Whitewater/Hinsdale simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Nashua 60-26. Saco/Whitewater/Hinsdale has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 34 points or more this season.

Saco/Whitewater/Hinsdale's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Dodson, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
