On Tuesday Westfall's undefeated season almost came to an end. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Fairfield Union Falcons. The Mustangs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Falcons, too.

Trent Gardner looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits.

On the hitting side, Cash Conrad was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that he hit this season. Another player making a difference was Brenden Tuttle, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Westfall's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-0. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 1.33 runs across that stretch. As for Fairfield Union, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-1.

Westfall has already played their next game, a 4-0 win against Paint Valley on the 9th. As for Fairfield Union, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 10-0 loss against Bishop Hartley on the 9th.
