After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lake Marion, Barnwell was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They managed a 36-30 win over the Bridges Prep Buccaneers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 37-32 on January 9th.

It was another big night for Gabrielle Thomas, who posted 16 points. Savannah Rountree was another key player, putting up ten points.

With the victory, Barnwell broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-13. As for Bridges Prep, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.

Barnwell wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 52-41 defeat against Hampton County on the 3rd. As for Bridges Prep, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 46-18 win against Edisto on the 3rd.
