Baseball Recap: Sequoyah Comes Up Short

Sequoyah lost against Salina back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Eagles came up short against the Wildcats, falling 8-1. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sequoyah's loss dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Salina, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Salina beat Sequoyah by a score of 6-3 on Tuesday.
