Soccer Game Preview: Belton-Honea Path vs. Walhalla

Belton-Honea Path hasn't had much luck against Walhalla recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Bears will look to defend their home pitch against the Razorbacks at 7:15 p.m. Belton-Honea Path will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Belton-Honea Path's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed last Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 4-0 margin over Pendleton. The result was nothing new for Belton-Honea Path, who have now won five contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, after soaring to four goals the game before, Walhalla was a bit more limited in their match on Thursday. They lost 6-0 to Daniel. Walhalla haven't had much luck with Daniel recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Walhalla's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Belton-Honea Path, their win bumped their record up to 8-5.

Belton-Honea Path couldn't quite get it done against Walhalla when the teams last played back in April of 2025 as they fell 3-1. Can the Bears avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
