Baseball Recap: Harrisburg Victorious

Harrisburg lost to Cross County back in April of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. Harrisburg skirted past Cross County 5-3. That's two games straight that the Hornets have won by exactly two runs.

Harrisburg has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. Cross County is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.

Coming up, Harrisburg will host Rivercrest at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Harrisburg is facing Rivercrest at the right time seeing as Rivercrest is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Cross County, they are taking a road trip to challenge Buffalo Island Central at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
