Last Tuesday, Aviation was able to grind out a solid win over Newcomers, taking the game 2-0. The victory continues a trend for the Flyers in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, Long Island City unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of Bryant by a score of 2-1.

Aviation's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Long Island City, their loss dropped their record down to 7-2.
