Basketball Recap: Wayne County Takes a Loss

Wayne County lost against Pulaski County back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Wayne County Cardinals took a 57-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pulaski County Maroons. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wayne County's defeat dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Pulaski County, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

Coming up, Wayne County will venture away from home to square off against Rockcastle County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Rockcastle County will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Wayne County surely won't give up without a fight. As for Pulaski County, they will welcome Southwestern at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
