Carter hadn't done well against Kaiser recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Lions won by a run and slipped past the Cats 11-10. This was a revenge game for the Lions: when they faced off against the Cats on April 2nd, they had to take a 8-6 loss.

Carter's record now sits at 4-9. As for Kaiser, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-14.

Coming up, Carter will be playing at home against Eisenhower at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Kaiser, they are taking a road trip to challenge Summit at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The Cats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the SkyHawks have averaged an impressive 7.6 runs per game this season.
