Basketball Recap: Bear Lake Takes a Loss

Bear Lake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They were beaten by the Snake River Panthers 65-28. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, with their most recent loss being a 65-28 defeat last Friday.

Bear Lake lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Tate Ewing, who posted eight points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Broxton Birch, who scored six points.

Bear Lake's loss dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Snake River, the victory (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 21-1.

Bear Lake has already played their next match, a 59-35 defeat against American Falls on the 19th. As for Snake River, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 50-39 loss against Marsh Valley on the 19th.
