McKinley Tech is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of District of Columbia's top teams: Dunbar, who was ranked eighth at the time (McKinley Tech was ranked 14th). McKinley Tech was outmatched by Dunbar and fell 59-30. The Trainers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were beaten by Anacostia 68-12. The Panthers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-6.

Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for McKinley Tech, they now have a losing record at 7-8.
