It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Omro ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the North Fond du Lac Orioles 3-2. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last six times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Omro saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cade Boynton, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. That hit marked the first that Boynton has got this season. Tanner Piper was another, earning two runs and two stolen bases.

With the win, Omro broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-6. As for North Fond du Lac, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Looking ahead, North Fond du Lac will challenge Sheboygan Area Lutheran at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Omro will be paying especially close attention to the Orioles' match: after the Orioles face off against the Crusaders, they'll take on Omro again at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
